Starting Tuesday, September 8th, our main office will be closed from 2:50pm to 3:20pm. Closing the office during this time ensures that staff members are available to assist with a smooth and safe dismissal. Transportation changes: Please notify us of any transportation changes prior to 245 so we have enough time to notify your child's teacher. Early pick ups: if you need to pick up your child early for an appointment, please do so before 2:50pm. Attendance reminder: minutes missed during early, sign out, count against your allotted, parent notes. Car tags: please ensure you have your car tags prior to September 8 Thank you for your support and flexibility as we implement these updates to keep our school, running safely and efficiently.

Attendance awareness poster contest. Your presence matters. Who can enter: students in grades K –2. Theme: your presence matters. Purpose: to promote the importance of daily attendance and encourage students to be present, engaged, and ready to learn. poster requirements: must include the phrase "your presence matters". Focus on attending school daily. Any artistic medium. Non-digital: Standard posterboard max 22 x 28". Original work only. Student name, grade teacher on the back. Submission: turn into Mrs. Peters by September 15. PRIZES: school level prize for grade level winners. One student selected for district contest. District winner receives a $50 prize.

All Second Harvest permission forms are due today (8/31) in order to be included in the September food distribution. Please reach out to Mrs. Harville is you have any questions regarding the food distribution.

Kindergarten and Pre-K start full time Monday morning. Please be patient during arrival and dismissal.

We have updated our color days for this year. We will have picture day on Friday, August 28th. Dress your best!

JRP has been gifted a sunshade for part of our playground. We are in the beginning stages of the installation. Our students are excited. We will update you throughout the process.



We are excited to celebrate our students with excellent behavior this year. We have two celebration days planned for the first 9 weeks. Students who have 2 or less minor infractions in the first 4.5 weeks will get off the snack cart. Students with 4 or less minor infractions will earn a chance to play games in the gym for small prizes! We are looking forward to celebrating our Bear Cubs!
We have some amazing opportunities for students to earn rewards for excellent attendance. Each month, each student who has 2 or fewer absences, will get a reward! We are so excited to celebrate our Bear Cubs!
Fall Picture Day will be Friday, August, 28th.

Starting August 17th, wear the color of the day to help our Pre-K and Kindergarten students learn their colors
